My boyfriend is coming off chapter 13 bankruptcy is it still possible for him to get a credit card to re-establish his credit? If so how would he get an application? He does not have access to a computer.
Answer:
The decision about issuing a credit card is entirely up to the bank. No one can tell you for sure. But usually you have to have your bankruptcy finalized at least 6 months ago in order to become eligible for credit cards. That means, that when you declare bankrupt court determines how much and when you have to pay and when everything is resolved you have to wait 6 months. However the fact that you had a bankruptcy will stay on your credit report for 7-11 years.

Answer:
Of course you can apply for a credit card. Credit card companies usually think about people with no credit history and have special deals for them. You should pay attention to the deals of First PREMIER Bank. We advise you Centennial Gold MasterCard/Visa by First PREMIER. This is a card with guaranteed approval. It has low APR on purchases and gold card prestige. Apply online and get an instant decision. This is a perfect option to build a credit.

Could you please send me info on the best credit card for someone with bad credit? The ones that I have run across only have a 200 dollar credit limit. Is there are normal credit card with a higher spending limit for people like me? Not a prepaid either.
Answer:
Establishing a good credit is a process that takes time and effort. You can't get a good credit limit with such a card. It is a usual bank's security measure to prevent nonpayment. You will first get a small credit limit and higher interest rates. If you show to be a responsible cardholder and pay your bills on time, they will usually raise your credit limit in about 6 months or a year. So everything is in your hands. Apply online and start building your credit score today!
