Anti-Terrorist Credit Card Policy
Understanding Credit Cards
Credit cards have got different purposes. What do I mean? It's a fact that some credit cards are aimed at repairing your credit history. We select a credit card depending on the consumer category that we belong to.
Credit cards can be classified in different ways. For instance, by the county-issuer. credit cards are being issued in different countries. We all have heard about US credit cards, Canada cards, and Belgium credit cards. But... We don't classify cards by the nationality of its owner.
It would be weird if credit card companies would issue special cards for Japanese Americans or Black Americans. Most likely this would be considered to be offensive as those shops for white people only, the ones that stir up indignation among all African Americans.
It would happen exactly the same with credit cards. It would be not fair in the eyes of the people who believe they are living in a free country.
The Bank of America is so liberal as to issue its best no fees and rewards credit cards to (hard to believe) undocumented immigrants that work in the US.
It may seem that all the citizens of the US are equal in their rights to apply for the best credit cards despite their nationality as long as their credit score is good enough to qualify. The free country should provide its people with all the rights and liberties. But it is so at first site.
Most Americans worry about terrorist attacks that happen in the US and the rest of the world. All these moods have an impact on the minorities of Muslim origin - the ones that reside in the country.
Although it may seem weird but one of the modern methods to fight against the supporters of terrorists or terrorists themselves are credit cards! Let me give you an example. You might have heard about Muslim Basil and his coming from Pakistan. He had lived in the US legally for 10 years before he applied for his first credit card. He had a very good credit history.
It is not a surprise that he got an approval from American Express and was issued a good credit card, the one with flyer points. Muslim Basil was a responsible person - he never missed a single payment. Moreover, he always paid more than the required minimum. Common features of eligibility for a card, right? Nevertheless, he received a letter from the American Express informing that his AmEx Blue was cancelled without any obvious reason.
Meanwhile, it is not just a coincidence but rather a strategy which is to a certain extent connected with the threat of the terrorism.
May we conclude that credit card companies are declaring a war? Are they really ready to lose big revenues just with the sole aim to fight terrorism? Although it may seem weird, that is what is actually happening. Happen you to be Pakistani, Muslim in this country, be prepared that your credit might be closed despite your perfect credit score or excellent credit history.
There is a question then. Can we consider such policies unfair or can we justify them as a way to avoid terrorist attacks?

There can be different responses to this article. One the one hand it's clearly that now many things depend on the relations among the countries. But on the other hand there appears the question: why should people suffer?
